TROPICAL STORM WATCH: as defined by the National Weather Service as conditions including winds from 39 to 73 miles per hour posing possible threat to a specified coastal area within 36 hours the Rentor must:
- Strike dodgers
- Remove dinghies
- Remove roller reefing jibs
- Lash mainsail
- Remove anchors that will chafe pennants
- Affix chafing gear
