HURRICANE SEASON INFO!

TROPICAL STORM WATCH: as defined by the National Weather Service as conditions including winds from 39 to 73 miles per hour posing possible threat to a specified coastal area within 36 hours the Rentor must:

  • Strike dodgers
  • Remove dinghies
  • Remove roller reefing jibs
  • Lash mainsail
  • Remove anchors that will chafe pennants
  • Affix chafing gear
HURRICANE WATCH: as defined by the National Weather Service as conditions of sustained wind of 74 miles per hour or higher and dangerously high water posing possible threat within 36 hours the Rentor must vacate mooring.

Launch Service is finished for the season.

  Chappy Rides at 12am-1am on demand
     
September 5th - 29th One boat operating 8am-11pm
  Outside these times on call
     
September 30th - TBD Depending on MV Derby 10am-10pm
The launch runs to the anchorage at the top of every hour.
