Mooring Rentals
Call Oldport Marine on VHF channel 68 when entering the harbor for first come, first-served moorings
Transient mooring reservations will be available beginning May 1st on Dockwa
- Check out time is noon.
- Cash, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa are accepted for payment.
- All moorings are set in their current positions at the direction of the Newport Harbormaster. On the occasion of shifting winds, storm conditions, and/or current and tide changes, vessels may swing and make contact, or mooring anchors may drag. Oldport Marine will not be held responsible for such collisions.
- Renter will be responsible for securing all roller reefing jibs before leaving vessel unattended. Renter will be responsible for insuring that chafing gear is properly located and secured. Oldport Marine does not assume care, custody, or control of Renter's boat or pennant.
- Oldport Marine is not responsible for damage caused by the Renter's Mooring Buoy or any adjacent mooring buoys.
- Oldport Marine is not responsible for pennant failure due to chafing.
- It is understood that while Oldport Marine has made every effort to provide a safe mooring, there has been no warranty or representation by Oldport Marine of the fitness of the facilities for the use for which they were designed and intended. The Renter agrees that Oldport Marine is not responsible for any injury or damage, or loss of equipment, to the vessel, lessee or his guests, from whatever cause. The Renter further agrees to save harmless, protect, and indemnify Lessor from and against any and all loss, costs, damage, claims suits, actions at law and judgments, including attorney’s fees, which may arise or grow out of any injury to, or death of, person, damages to property, any other matter or thing, caused by acts of God, fire, windstorm, explosion, flood, burglary, theft, or by any other casualty. Oldport Marine reserves the right at any point to terminate Renter's stay.
- In the event of storm watches or warnings issued by the National Weather Service with conditions of sustained winds of 50 MPH or higher in Narragansett Bay, Oldport Marine requires owners to remove their vessels from moorings.
- Our moorings will accommodate up to 65' vessels. Vessels over 65' must call the Newport Harbormaster on VHF ch 16.
- Launch service is not included in the transient mooring fee.
- Main Harbor & Brenton Cove : $4 per person each way
Point Section : $4 per person each way
Seasonal Launch Pass : $700 for private vessels

$75.00 per night $35.00 in addition to above rates. (Per city regulations, someone must be aboard at all times when rafting.) |
3% service fee is added to any Credit Card charge of $500 or more
